Reno Tahoe Limousine was founded on the principle that you can truly build something out of nothing if you have the passion, work ethic, and energy to make it happen.

Nearly 40 years ago, car enthusiast Ron Perlman came upon an old limo at the Reno wrecking yard and decided to make a project out of it. Before he knew it, people from all around town were calling him asking to rent his newly polished limousine, thus beginning the journey of Royal Limousine in Truckee, California.

Joined by his wife Danell in 2002, the Perlman’s moved the business to Reno in 2008 with just 6 vehicles and a new name: Reno Tahoe Limousine. Today, they operate 25 vehicles and have 20+ staff, handling airport and corporate travel, special events, and even sightseeing tours for thousands of clients.

Over the years, Ron and Danell have gotten to meet some pretty incredible people, including Sir Paul McCarthy, Robin Williams, and Ray Romano, to name a few. In addition to celebrities, they’ve also had the privilege to meet dozens of CEOs of global companies, getting insight into some of the best business practices in the world, and receiving mentorship along the way.

Beyond the perks of getting to chauffeur some of the biggest names in America, what really drives Ron and Danell is their commitment to greatness. Behind every great business lies a great partnership, along with intentional values. Ron and Danell strive to live by the quote “Good enough is never good enough,” constantly yearning to improve, build, and strengthen their business while going above and beyond for each client.

Some of the company’s most special moments come from their most momentous challenges, once even transporting 200+ wedding guests to a remote mountain top destination by way of two dozen jeeps! With a passion for the industry and their customers, the team at RTL has proven time and time again how willing they are to make any idea a reality.

By forming a strong team with genuine care and passion, and a gut to continue to overcome any obstacle that comes their way, the Perlman’s found a sure-fire way to succeed in the transportation business.
